# COM, NET, ORG, INFO etc domain name ownership change

**Attention!** According to ICANN rules **changing** any of the **following domain contact information** is considered an **ownership change**:

- **contact person name**
- **registrant’s name**
- **company’s name**
- **email address**

You can change the contact information in [**My Zone**](https://my.zone.fi/dashboard/en/home) via [**Domain management**](https://my.zone.fi/dashboard/en/domain/home). Choose the preferred domain and click on the **pencil icon** under “Domain contacts”.

Once you’ve changed the information, verification emails are sent to the current and new owner’s contact email address. **Both parties must verify the change via the verification link!**

 **NB!** The verification link will be valid for **15 days**! If the change is not verified, the previous ownership will remain and change will be cancelled.
